Gilberto Zaldivar (1934-2009)  
Presidente Fundador y Productor Emeritus

As Founding President and Producer Emeritus of Repertorio Español, Gilberto Zaldivar established and solidified the administrative and financial platform of Repertorio Español and brought the works of Lorca, Tirso, Calderón de la Barca and contemporary Hispanic playwrights from the United states and Latin America to New York's theater community.

Como Director Artístico de Repertorio Español, René Buch ha dirigido un sinnúmero de obras entre las que se encuentran, La Celestina, Romeo y Julieta, ¿Quién le teme a Virginia Woolf?, El zoologico de cristal, La vida es sueño, Secreto agravio/secreta venganza, Fuenteovejuna, El Burlador de Sevilla, Acto cultural, El día que me quieras, La gringa, Quemar las naves, la mayor parte del canon de García Lorca entre muchas otras.

In 1971, Mr. Federico designed his first production at Repertorio Español and joined the company full-time in 1972, when the company relocated to the Grammercy Arts Theatre. Since then, he has created sets, lighting and costumes for over 100 productions, as well as designing the lighting for Spanish dancer Pilar Rioja throughout the United States.

Cruz was recently incorporated to Repertorio's Board of Directors and promoted to Associate Producer. He joined Repertorio Español in 2002 and since then has fostered strong ties with the community allowing the organization to gain new streams of revenue and creative opportunities for artistic development.

Mejía was recently incorporated to Repertorio's Board of Directors. He joined the company in 2001 to head the corporate and foundation fundraising efforts. During his tenure, he has been instrumental in strengthening Repertorio’s endowment, cultivating donor relations, and steadily securing new and continued capital, operational and programming support from major corporations and foundations.
